ScratchShot is a party game for golfers. Pull a lottery-style scratch ticket on any shot or hole, scratch the foil with your finger, and obey whatever fate reveals — silly challenges, lucky boosts, brutal curses, and wildcards that drag your friends into the chaos.

How to play

  1. Set up a round. Add 1–4 players, choose 9 or 18 holes, and pick a spice level.
  2. Pull a ticket. On any shot or hole, draw a scratch card from the deck.
  3. Scratch the foil. Swipe the card with your finger to reveal the challenge, boost, curse, or wildcard.
  4. Obey your fate. Do what the card says — or chicken out and take the penalty.
  5. Tally Grit Points. Track scores as you go and crown a winner on the 19th-hole results screen.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an internet connection to play?

No. ScratchShot works 100% offline. Once the app is installed you can play anywhere — on the course, in the cart, or out of signal range — with no connection required.

Do I need to create an account?

No. There are no accounts and no sign-in. Just open the app and start a round.

Does ScratchShot collect any of my data?

No. The app collects no personal data and contains no analytics, ads, or tracking. Player names, scores, and settings are stored only on your device. See the Privacy Policy for the full details.

How many people can play?

1 to 4 players share a single device, pass-and-play style. Pick 9 or 18 holes when you set up the round.

What do the spice levels do?

They control how wild the deck gets. Mild keeps things light; Full Send brings out the brutal curses and chaos cards. Pick whatever fits your group.

How do I share my results?

Tap the share button on a results card and your device's standard share sheet appears — send it to a group chat, messages, or anywhere else. ScratchShot never sees what you share or where it goes.

My scores or settings disappeared. What happened?

Game data is stored only on your device. Deleting and reinstalling the app, or clearing the app's data in iOS Settings, will reset names, scores, and preferences. If something looks wrong, fully closing and reopening the app usually resolves it — and if not, email us below.

Is ScratchShot free?

Yes — it's free to play.

Which devices are supported?

ScratchShot runs on iPhone. If you run into trouble on a specific device or iOS version, let us know and we'll take a look.
