We do not collect your data

ScratchShot is a self-contained party game. It has no backend server, no user accounts, and no login. It does not request your name, email, phone number, contacts, photos, microphone, or location. Because the app makes no network requests, no information about you ever leaves your device and reaches us or anyone else.

Information stored on your device

To make the game work, ScratchShot saves a small amount of information locally on your device only, using your device's standard on-device storage:

  • Player names you type for a round
  • Scores and game progress
  • Your game settings and preferences

This information never leaves your device, is not transmitted to us, and is not accessible to us. You can erase it at any time by deleting and reinstalling the app, or by clearing the app's data in iOS Settings.

The “share” feature

ScratchShot lets you share a results card (for example, to a group chat) using your device's built-in share sheet. When you tap share, your device — not ScratchShot — handles where the image goes. We do not see, store, or transmit what you share or who you share it with. Anything that happens after you pick a destination is governed by that app or service's own privacy policy.

Children's privacy

ScratchShot does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children. Because no data is collected, the app does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region).

Third-party services

ScratchShot does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash- reporting, or tracking services, and it does not share data with any third party. The app is distributed through the Apple App Store; your download and any in-app interactions with the App Store are handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy.

Changes to this policy

If this app ever changes in a way that affects privacy, we will update this page and revise the “Last updated” date above. Since the current version collects no data, any future change would be described here before it takes effect.
